    Amazon.com Review
Another silly title from the Beginner Books series (the sameplace that Dr. Seuss and the Berenstains hang their hats), I WishThat I Had Duck Feet follows one little guy's dreams of borrowingall sorts of useful appendages from the animal world. "I wish thatI had duck feet. And I can tell you why. You can splash around induck feet. You don't have to keep them dry." But each time heimagines something new--those duck feet, a prickly pair of deerhorns perfect for playing football, a spraying whale spout to keephis classroom cool--he realizes that it's not always all it'scracked up to be. "BUT... If I had a long, long tail, I know thatBig Bill Brown would tie me in a tree! He would! Then how would Iget down?" A vacuuming mom and pipe-smoking dad are straight out of'60s suburbia (Duck Feet first came out in 1965), but the playfulillustrations and catchy rhymes still make for good fun. (Ages 4 to8) --Paul Hughes --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

What would life be like if you had feet like a duck, or hornslike a deer, a whale spout on your head, or a long, long nose? Inthis crazy tale a small boy imagines all these things, only todecide in the end that perhaps it's better to be "ME" afterall.
如果我有一只鸭子的脚,有一对鹿角,还有一只长长的鼻子,生活会变得怎样呢?每个小孩的童年都会有这样稀奇古怪的想法吧。但是如果这些都实现了,那又会怎样呢,苏斯博士告诉我们“Ithik there are some things I do not wish to be. And that is why Ithink that I just wish to be like me”所以,做你自己最重要!
